Akshar International School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great pride, patriotism, and joy

Dear Parents,
We are delighted to share that our campus came alive today with the spirit of freedom as we commemorated India’s 80th Independence Day.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to our Chief Guest, Mr. Karambir Sony sir, and Special Guest, Mrs. Sweta Sony ma'am. Our young escorts accompanied them graciously to the lawn for the solemn Flag Hoisting ceremony, followed by the soul-stirring National Anthem that filled everyone’s heart with pride.

The program then moved to the assembly area where our talented students took stage:
Aditya Raj of Class X welcomed everyone and anchored the event with confidence.
Jyotsna Bhattacharjee of Class X delivered an inspiring 80th Independence Day Address, reminding us of our heritage and responsibilities.
- The *Middle Wing* mesmerized everyone with a soulful Patriotic Song, while the Pre-Primary Wing won hearts with their adorable Patriotic Dance.
- Vedant V Sharma of Class VII spoke eloquently on the theme “Viksit Bharat”, sharing a vision for a stronger tomorrow.
- The Girls of the Primary Wing added colour with a graceful *Dance Performance.
- Our Middle Wing showcased discipline and unity through an energetic PT Drill.
- The Primary Wing presented a thought-provoking Skit that highlighted the values of freedom and unity.

We were honoured to have inspiring words from our guests. They addressed the gathering and encouraged our students to become responsible citizens and torchbearers of the nation.

The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Om Kumar of Class X, followed by the distribution of chocolates.
