Guru Purnima Celebration at Akshar International School

Today, Akshar International School celebrated Guru Purnima with deep gratitude and joy, as students paid tribute to their teachers — the guiding lights in their lives.

Though originally scheduled for July 10, the celebration was observed today due to a weather-related school holiday. The spirit of devotion, however, remained strong.

The event began with anchoring by Ananya Verma (Std. 4) and Prisha Eralu (Std. 5). A graceful welcome dance by Swati Sikka (Std. 12) set a beautiful tone. Pratigya Patro (Std. 6) and Aditi Sharma (Std. 11) presented soulful poems and meaningful explanations of Dohaas.

Our primary students showcased the story of Eklavya through a thought-provoking skit, while Vedant V. Sharma (Std. 6) mesmerized the audience with his powerful recitation of Guru Ashtakam by Adi Shankaracharya.

Senior students brought energy to the stage with a vibrant group dance performance.

The celebration concluded with an inspiring speech by Tr. Priti, emphasizing the vital role teachers play in shaping minds and hearts.
